Unlike in Australia, you don’t have to lock in your major right away. Most colleges give you up to two years to explore different subjects before officially declaring your major. So if you're unsure, you’ve got time to figure it out — no pressure, no wasted years.

I’ve done this myself. I earned a full hockey scholarship to a U.S. university and lived the highs, the hard parts, and everything in between.
