About me
👋 I’m Bente — founder of ScholarShipped and former Division I field hockey player.
College hockey found me at 17, when the Northwestern University team played a scrimmage at my club in the Netherlands — and it changed my life.
I spent six years in the U.S. living the full student-athlete experience: competing at the highest level, earning my degree, building lifelong friendships, traveling the country, and growing both on and off the field.
College hockey was more than sport — it shaped who I am today.
